Dry Cleaning is the cornerstone of our business.
Special fluids and solvents are used in a dry
cleaning machine to remove soil and stains from
fabric. It is called "dry cleaning" because the
fluid contains little or no water and does not
penetrate the fibers in the way water does.
Advantages include the ability to dissolve greases
and oils in a way that soap and water cannot.
Natural fibers, such as wool, dry clean beautifully,
but when washed in water, can shrink and distort.
Silks are generally more color and finish stable
when dry cleaned, although one must be very
knowledgeable to properly spot clean these garments.
Synthetic fibers such as polyester also respond well
to dry cleaning, as oily spots will come out easily.
Proper dry cleaning helps to return your garments to
a 'like-new' condition.
Professional
dry cleaning involves many different operations; all
performed by skilled people, and designed to give
your garments a fresh, clean appearance. All Ultra
Cleaners staff are highly trained in their area of
expertise to properly identify, clean and/or finish
all garments, and to exercise a number of special
procedures when handling your items. Our Master Dry
Cleaner has over 15 years of experience in the
industry and has received a “Certificate of Dry
Cleaning” from the Fabricare Institute in Ft.
Lauderdale.
Our normal
turn- around time is 3 days, however, same day
service is available as long as the garments are
brought in before 9AM and they will be promptly
returned by 5PM the same day. All of our work is
done on our premises so nothing leaves our
facilities.
We have an
expert tailor on the premises Monday through Friday
from 8AM – 5PM. She does alterations and mends just
about anything - from hemming your pants or
replacing a pocket, to lining your jacket. We also
provide same day or “while you wait” service for an
extra fee.
The cleaning
and finishing itself is not done the same as fabric
cleaning. Being animal skins, they react to cleaning
methods differently and require different solvents
and equipment in the cleaning process as well as
special handling techniques in the finishing
process. Ultra Cleaners is an expert at Leather and
Suede Cleaning.
We clean and
freshen up your household items, such as area rugs,
couch covers, and decorative pillows. Items such as
blankets, comforters, bed pillows, and throw rugs
are usually washed and dried, but may be dry
cleaned, depending on the fabric, fiber content,
spot, or other special considerations. Be assured
that you'll be happy with the end results!
Another one of
our new services is Shoe Repair. Our skilled cobbler
can perform services from a simple shoe shine, to
replacing women’s heels to totally rebuilding and
restoring a pair of shoes. What could be more
convenient than to drop off your favorite pair of
shoes to have them look their best when complete.
After that
special day, you may want to get your wedding gown
cleaned because you probably enjoyed yourself too
much on that day. Or you may want to save the dress
and have it restored for a friend or family member

Ultra Cleaners
is a popular destination of the equestrian set
participating in the Winter Equestrian Festival in
Wellington. Because of our close proximity to the
Show Grounds, many equestrian come to us year after
year for our services. We can handle riding
britches, riding blouses, jackets, neckties, saddle
pads, horse blankets, chaps, and other equestrian
requirements.
